Same Difference follows a young woman (Atkins) who is told that her death is imminent by a mysterious group of people who all start dying one by one. The woman becomes compelled to let go of the past and reconcile with her estranged twin sister, also played by Atkins, who is suffering from alcohol addiction.

The HBCU Power Awards highlight the achievements and accomplishments of young alumni who attended HBCUs and Icons, that are making innovative and leading-edge achievement in business, sports, philanthropy, media, music, technology, TV, film, politics, civil service and fashion. This fundraising initiative will benefit need-based scholarships at Morehouse College.
The Inaugural HBCU Power Awards took place on the evening of Friday, October 20, 2017, at the historic Martin Luther King International Chapel at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.
The HBCU Power Awards will convene over 1,000 of the nation’s most distinguished diverse business and civic leaders together for an evening of recognition and celebration. The first HBCU Power Awards gave the Icon Award to Jada Pinkett Smith as Grammy Award winner HER performed and ABC's 'Blackish" star Deon Cole Hosted
